Ray Bailey
Founder & CEO
In 1991, Ray drafted the mission statement that continues to be Lone Star’s guiding light: “We will deliver the right products to our customers on time, the first time, every time, with no exceptions.” He has served on the board of directors for the National Systems Contractors Association since 2003 and is an accomplished pilot, having flown over 200 Angel flights.
Dan Hiett
Chief Operating Officer
Dan has 50 years of experience in the low voltage and integration industry and leadership roles as Project Manager, Director of Operations, and COO. He brings a wealth of experience dealing with resource allocation, team management, process optimization, and maintaining high standards of customer service while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
Victor Gonzalez
Chief Operating Officer
Victor brings over 23 years of leadership and experience in the low-voltage systems industry. Working his way from installer to Chief Operating Officer, he helps lead Lone Star in its continued growth year over year. Victor currently serves as COO of Central Texas and Houston and as Assistant COO to Dan Hiett, Corporate COO.
Marquis Woodard
Chief Sales Officer
Marquis began his career in shipping, receiving, and stocking and quickly moved into the field as a technician, learning everything about installations, programming, and service. He took his product knowledge and field experience into sales, where he found great success sharing his experience and expertise with prospects and customers. In his spare time, Marquis loves fishing with his kids, and if you can name an action movie, he’s probably seen it!
Justin Bailey
Chief Technology Officer
Justin began his career as a technician and has grown with the company. Bringing 25 years of expertise, he serves on the NSCA XBO Experience: Next Gen Committee, contributing to the future of systems integration and its leaders. His dedication ensures Lone Star Communications remains an innovative and service-oriented industry leader.
Donna Montgomery
Chief Clinical Informatics Officer
Donna joined Lone Star in 2018, bringing more than three decades of experience as a DNP-prepared executive healthcare leader. With a passion for delivering technology and information to clinicians and leaders that support evidence-based practice, hardwiring of clinical workflow, and use of data and information to drive process improvement, Donna sees challenges as opportunities to improve.
Jeff Richard
President, Alairo Solutions
Before being appointed President of Alairo Solutions Group, Jeff Richard was Lone Star Communications’ CTO. Before that, he was a customer of Lone Star while working at Baylor Scott & White, one of the largest health systems in the U.S. His 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry and as a business owner have left him with strong leadership skills combined with clinical and operational experience in building and leading teams.
Kenny Schiff
Chief Marketing Officer
Kenny is a healthcare and education industry veteran and the founder of CareSight, a cloud-based patient care analytics company. In October 2022, CareSight was acquired by Lone Star Communications. Though colleagues often mistake him for an engineer, Kenny instead describes himself as an explainer, teacher, translator, and problem solver.
Kevin Henderson
Chief Operating Officer
Kevin has over 20 years of experience in the life safety industry for the US government, detention, commercial, and healthcare industries. He has led cross-functional teams and driven strategic initiatives, recurring revenue, and customer experience. He is also an 8-year Marine Corps veteran, girl dad, tech early adopter, avid reader, gym goer, and history aficionado.
Chris Andrus
VP of Sales
Chris is a trusted advisor to some of the most prestigious health systems in Texas. Beginning as a technical resource for Georgetown, Texas-based Advanced Communications & Cabling Inc. (which Lone Star acquired in 2019), Chris has emerged as an influential leader and strategist for Lone Star as Vice President of Sales and Chief Strategy Officer for Lone Star’s Alairo Solutions group.
Kara Bell
Group Controller
As Group Controller, Kara has over 30 years of experience in auditing, financial statement preparation, economic analysis, HR, payroll, strategic management, 401k administration, insurance planning, and internal controls. In her free time, she plays golf with friends and family. In her younger years, Kara aspired to be a track star and a concert pianist.
Joshua Hiett
Director of Corporate Services
Joshua has grown with the company through roles in engineering, installation, and administration. Since 2015, he has served as the company’s in-house attorney and is currently the Director of Corporate Services, based in Grand Prairie, TX. Joshua spends his time outside of work with family and friends and enjoys playing music, cooking, and building things.
Kathryn Marshall
Director Financial Analysis
Kathryn has 30 years of experience in accounting, working for several large publicly traded companies. While she is currently based in Texas, she was born in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England, while her father served in the Air Force. Kathryn is away from work; she enjoys scrapbooking and gardening.
