Clinical Alarm Management
Reduce distractions, improve efficiency and create a calmer working environment with better alarm management.
The Challenge
In most hospital organizations, the nursing informatics teams are already operating at nearly full capacity. Adding another strategic initiative dilutes focus and results in a longer path to success (or, in many cases, program failure). Without experienced, focused resources, it is difficult to advance alarm management projects.
The Solution
To support data-based decision making, the Clinical Alarm Management team implements Alairo Insights. Insights has helped many hospitals to optimize their alarm and notification environment by collecting data from multiple sources, organizing the information by role or initiative, and providing dashboards and reports as an output.
With an experienced team to interpret information, the data that is typically trapped in various modalities and systems is brought to life and helps to inform critical alarm management decisions. The system enables the user to select various time ranges, hospitals, units, and alarm types to provide instant visibility into operations.
The report engine is also highly configurable, enabling reports that range from long-term analysis to listing the entire alarm and response sequence for any room over the past shift (as an example).
The Team
Your project will be assigned a Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) who is dedicated to supporting your team, driving the implementation, and managing the program.
The CAS calls on a team of specialists that cover multiple disciplines and directs the data science team that custom-configures your portal and initial set of reports.
